Tripura’s economic growth earned global spotlight, says Union Minister Sonowal

Tripura has emerged as one of the fastest-growing states in the country, gaining recognition not just within India but also on the global stage, Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal stated on February 12. 

Highlighting the state's economic strides, Sonowal noted that Tripura’s products are now making a mark in international markets, reflecting the state’s rapid progress.

Lauding the leadership of Chief Minister Manik Saha, Sonowal praised the developmental initiatives undertaken in the
state, calling them "commendable." He credited the unwavering support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asserting that his leadership has fostered deep respect and admiration for him across the Northeast region.

Discussing India's economic vision, Sonowal emphasized that Tripura and the entire Northeast are ready to contribute towards making India the world's third-largest economy in the next five years under PM Modi’s leadership.
