Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan arrives in Tripura on two-day visit

Vice President of India C. P. Radhakrishnan arrived in Tripura's Agartala on March 7, on a two-day visit to the state.
He was received at Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport by Indrasena Reddy Nallu, Chief Minister Manik Saha and Rajib Bhattacharjee, along with members of the council of ministers and senior officials.
During his visit, the Vice President will pay tribute to the martyrs of the Bangladesh Liberation War at the war memorial located at Albert Ekka Park in the Lichu Bagan area of the city.
He will also visit the revered Tripura Sundari Temple, popularly known as Mata Tripureshwari Temple, in Udaipur.
On March 8, the Vice President will attend the 14th convocation ceremony of Tripura University as the chief guest. He will also address a gathering of self-help group members and entrepreneurs at the Hapania International Fairground during the visit.
