ITANAGAR: A ten-year-old boy in Arunachal Pradesh has gone missing yesterday while playing on the riverbank of the Kameng river of Arunachal, was feared drowned.
The incident took place around 10 am in the morning, yesterday while the 10-year-old was playing on the riverbank of the Kameng river of Arunachal, near Balipara town on the Assam Arunachal border.
The missing child has been identified as Shanuj Tide son of Biren Tide, a resident of Paleng village.

Speaking to the media locals said that Shanuj was carried away by the river while he was playing on the riverbank.
Shanuj was a sixth-grade student of Dharikati Middle English School.
A team from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) has been conducting a search and rescue operation around the river area, However, no traces of the child has been found yet.
