The Changlang district administration in Arunachal Pradesh has made the Rapid Antigen Test compulsory for the employees working in IMFL outlets in the district. They have to go through the test every week.
As per the new standard operating procedures issued by Government of Arunachal and also looking at the increasing Corona positive cases in Changlang district, the deputy commissioner, Dr. Devansh Yadav today directed all the staff working under IMFL / beer bonded warehouse, wholesale vends and retail wine outlets operating within the administrative jurisdiction of Changlang district to get themselves Rapid Antigen Test once a week in their respective community and primary health centers without fail to prevent further spread of the pandemic. The order comes into force from today.

Any violation or willful disobedience of the order shall be dealt with sternly and action will be initiated under section 188 IPC and section 51 to 60 of Disaster Management Act, 2005, the order reads.
Miao and Bordumsa are under complete lockdown. All vehicles are off the roads, shops and offices are down their shutters and movement of people restricted. Only vehicles of administration, police, health departments and those on exigency duties are seen.
