ITANAGAR: Chief minister Pema Khandu has flagged off as many as five mobile digital movie theatres also known as “Digiplex Theatres” of Picture Times today at Itanagar.
Besides providing the experience of the taste of world-class movie theatres, it will also be used for educational purposes.
“With mobile digital movie theatre, people from rural areas and small town can experience the taste of world-class movie theatres. Flagged off today 5 mobile theatre vans, run by Picture Times. Besides providing entertainment, it can also be used for educational purposes,” CM Khandu tweeted.

“Big Day. Our much awaited collab with Govt of Arunachal is now in execution.5 Digiplex theatres in Itanagar. Hon’ ble CM @PemaKhanduBJP and Hon’ble Minister, IPR @bamangfelix grace our Digiplex at Itanagar today with flag off ceremony,” Picture Times wrote on Twitter.
