Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on May 1 said that better internet connectivity will boost governance in the state.
He was speaking during a launch of 4G services at Tego-Gamlin in the Liromoba constituency in the West Sing district of the state.
''Better network of the Internet will give a boost to governance and delivery of services to the people,'' he said.
After the launch of the 4G services, Khandu also made the first call from Tawang and mentioned that it touched his heart and soul.
He also thanked Liromoba MLA Nyamar Karbak, who joined the call from Tego-Gamlin, and P Tato, Deputy Commissioner (DC), West Siang for being a part of this historic occasion.
It is worth mentioning that the Centre has launched 254 4G mobile network towers for boosting connectivity in 336 border areas of Arunachal Pradesh, specifically the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China.
The government has already approved the installation of 2,605 4G mobile towers that will cater to 3,721 villages in the state.
