Arunachal: Truck loaded with essentials washed away after landslides triggered by incessant rain hits Dibang Valley

Arunachal Pradesh has been receiving incessant rainfall in the past two days as incidents of landslides have been reported causing troubles for commuters.

Visuals of a truck loaded with essentials washed away due to a landslide have been caught on camera.
It is unclear whether the driver of the truck managed to escape unhurt.

The video shows a JCB trying to clear a road blocked due to the landslide when moments later the truck turned turtle and fell into the deep gorge behind.

The road between Roing and Anini in the Dibang Valley district of Arunachal Pradesh was blocked following heavy rainfall, and landslides reported in multiple locations.

The blocked points have been equipped with machinery and staff for clearing out the rubble, but the ongoing clearing work is being hampered by the incessant rain.

Everyone is urged to take the necessary precautions until the rain stops, according to an advisory issued by the district administration.
