453 land pattas distributed to landless indigenous people of Margherita

State Disaster Management Authority and Margherita Sub Division Administration (Civil) on Tuesday Jointly distributed Land Pattas to 453 Landless Indigenous people of Makum and Tirap Mauza under 124 Number Margherita Constituency.

In the program, 124 Number Margherita Constituency MLA Bhaskar Sharma, Margherita Sub Divisional Officer (Civil) Pabitra Kumar Das, Margherita Sub Divisional Police Officer Puna Gogoi, Margherita Circle Officer Sunbar Chutia, Margherita Sub Divisional EAC Tridip Kumar Konwar and Bikramaditya Bora besides other distinguished guests were present.

Margherita Sub Divisional officer (C) Pabitra Kumar Das said that under 124 Number Margherita Constituency, a total of 1200 Landless Indigenous People shall be given Land Pattas wherein today 453 Landless Indigenous people got the Land pattas whereas the remaining shall be given in the month of December.
