Addressing the media, Akhil Gogoi said, “The AGP, despite knowing the fact that if the BJP party is voted back into power, will bring back the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, has again joined hands with the BJP. Thus, the KMSS, along with 70 organizations, have decided not to vote for the BJP and its allies. Moreover, we urge the people of Assam to boycott the party as well its allies.”
Moreover, the KMSS leader also urged the people to boycott the “communal” All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF).
