APSC 2018 results declared, Kongkon Jyoti Saikia from Golaghat tops Civil Service exam

GUWAHATI: The results of the Combined Competitive Examination, 2018 of the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC), were declared earlier today.

Kongkon Jyoti Saikia from Golaghat district of Upper Assam has topped the Assam Civil Service (Jr. Grade) exam, while Jintu Sarma stood second.

Saikia hails from the Bipin Phukan Nagar in Golaghat town. He is a former student of the Gauhati University in Assam. Up until the Degree-level, he had studied in Golaghat.

He said that although he had expected to clear the exam, he was not hoping to stand first.
