Assam: 10 arrested in APDCL cash-for-job scam in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The Special Monitoring Cell of the Chief Minister arrested 10 people including the Principal of APDCL, OSD in connection to the cash-for-job scam in Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL).

The arrests were made from various parts of city. Three people were arrested from Jalukbari, four from Basishta, two from Dispur and one from Chanmari.

One officer on special duty (OSD) identified as Dipankar Dhingiya-who was working at the APDCL since 2006-has also been arrested.
