GUWAHATI: The president of Assam Cricket Association Romen Dutta and Devajit Saikia, Secretary, Assam Cricket Association (ACA) deeply mourns the demise of former Chief Minister of Assam, Shri Tarun Gogoi, who remained in office for 15 consecutive years.

As a mark of respect, ACA has announced that it will half mast its flag for 3 days from tomorrow.
As a mark of respect for Veteran leader Tarun Gogoi, the State unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has decided to cancel all-party meetings and public rallies and functions till November 26. Gogoi, who passed away after a two-month-long battle with post-COVID complications, will be laid to rest on November 26th. His body will be kept at the Srimanta Kalakshetra for two days — on November 24 and 25 — so that people can pay their last respects to him.
