The Guwahati Police on Sunday seized at least 50 kg of Psychotropic substances (WY tablet) worth Rs 10 lakh from a hideout in the Inter State Bus Terminus (ISBT) in Guwahati and nabbed two drug dealers in relation to the case.
According to official reports, the duo were headed for Siliguri via Guwahati. The accused have been identified as Kamruz Jaman and Amir Khan.
The police carried out the operation after receiving input that a huge consignment of WY tablets was dispatched from Manipur by a vehicle to Siliguri via Guwahati.

The apprehendees were sent to execute the plan in a vehicle bearing registration number WB 73 E 4335.
The seized WY tables worth Rs 10 lakh and the apprehended drug dealer has been taken under custody for further investigation.
