Assam Legislative Assembly's first budget session began

GUWAHATI: The 15th Assam Legislative Assembly's first budget session gets underway today.

The session will begin today and run for 15 working days, ending on August 13, 2021.

Including the Assam Cattle Preservation Bill 2021, 14 laws will be introduced by the state government throughout the Budget session.

Following the opening day's question hour, the government will present the statements of various departments as well as some more bills.

All tickets to the Assembly have already been digitalised by the Assembly Secretariat and speaker Biswajit Daimary requested cooperation from all members of the house, throughout the assembly session.

He further stated that everyone who wants to attend the Assembly must obey the COVID protocols.
