AIZAWL: Assam Ministers Ashok Singhal and Atul Bora reach Aizawl to meet the high-level delegation of Mizoram government to discuss the Assam-Mizoram border issue.
Atul Bora said that he is hopeful about the interaction. Assam wants to keep spirit of unity and brotherhood among North-eastern people, he said.
Taking to Twitter, Sighal said, "Hopeful that the issue will be resolved permanently through meaningful dialogues between both the govts".

The Ministers will be holding talks to restore peace between the northeastern states.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had stated on Wednesday that the two Minsiters “will visit Aizawl tomorrow with message of peace from people of Assam.”
His tweet comes as a response to Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga’s tweet stating, “I am sure important steps will be achieved for the solution of the border problem".
