The Hojai police has said that if anyone notices any suspicious activities, they are to contact the Hojai Police Control Room (Phone no. 06000924750), a local police station or '100'.

Speaking exclusively to Inside Northeast, Hojai OC Jatin Bora said that they first came to know about this from a local media channel. "We ourselves were surprised when people started calling us up asking us about this threat. As per my knowledge, it first started circulating after a person got a phone call from an unknown number receiving intel that such nefarious activities might be going on, and higher authorities were informed about it. As a result, we are closely monitoring the situation although we cannot confirm the veracity of this alleged "threat". But still, we are keeping a close watch to keep the situation from spiralling out of control", he said.
