The leader, who is usually being accompanied by party President Ranjeet Dass to the events, has already made quite a mark during the initial days of the campaign. Today, the leader, accompanied by his entourage, campaigned in the Ratabari Constituency, and he was also seen performing some of his trademark jigs and dance moves.
After delivering an address to an expectant crowd, Biswa Sarma, accompanied by candidate Bijoy Malakar, among others, marched through the streets as part of a 'pad yatra'.
It may be mentioned here that Biswa Sarma was the star campaigner in Assam during the 2019 General Elections. His relentless campaigning is believed to have aided in the BJP capturing nine of the Lok Sabha constituencies in the State, leaving rivals Congress and AIUDF behind in the dust. Clips of Sarma dancing to the tune of 'Akou Ebar Modi Sarkar', the BJP anthem, also went viral on social media.
It is pertinent to mention here that the political parties in Assam have geared up for the bypoll to the four assembly seats scheduled for October 21. Sonari, Rangapara, Ratabari and Jania are the four seats going for the polls.
