Assam Health & Family Welfare minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday said that there is no possibility of conducting Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) elections till November 30 due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Sarma said that the health department has already clarified that there is no environment to conduct elections till November 30 and no risk could be taken in this regard.

Sarma stated that Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal will chair an all-party meeting to discuss the matter soon. A decision in this regard will be taken after the Bihar election are over.
