We are also monitoring the railway tracks to ensure a situation of safety and security in the region. The entry and exit points of the city are being closely watched."

The Commissioner has also said that the volatile areas of the city have been determined and they are being patrolled by commandos. Moreover, the officers have been deployed to all the areas of the city. Moreover, a meeting was conducted yesterday to brief the police officers about the challenges.

The dog squads are also making routine rounds on the parade ground, the Commissioner said. "Traffic plans have also been made and the police personnel have been informed about their responsibilities", he said, and added that "we are hoping that the Independence Day program is a grand success."
