I-Day football tourney at Dispur

The Dr Amal Bhattacharya & Surendranath Sharma Memorial Independence Day Knockout Football Tournament was on Tuesday inaugurated by Dispur MLA Atul Bora at Janata Bhawan playground in Dispur.

A total of 32 teams are participating in the two-day tournament. The final will be played on Wednesday followed by the distribution of prizes. The winners and the runners-up will pocket cash prizes of Rs.20,000 and Rs.10,000 respectively.
