Illegal coal-loaded truck seized in Assam's Tinsukia; 2 held

MARGHERITA: Margherita Police on late Saturday night seized one illegally coal-loaded truck from Tinsukia district of Assam apprehending two persons in this connection.

The coal-loaded truck was seized from Coke Coal Bhatta which belongs to British Kumar situated at Matiline Baragolai under Margherita Police Station and arrested the driver and the handyman of the truck.

According to Sources one when the owner of the truck-Dipankar Gogoi, a resident of Ledo was trying to enter the illegally loaded coal truck bearing registration Number PB 19 C 9684 police apprehended them.

Police brought the illegally loaded truck along with the driver and handyman at Margherita police station while further investigation is going on.
