In the ongoing drive against unscrupulous traders duping consumers, personnel of the Legal Metrology with help from the police booked three traders in Algapur market in Hailakandi on Monday.
The raids conducted at the market place at around noon led to the registration of three cases against a fish trader, a dry fish trader (unscrupulous) and a vegetable seller.
Inspector of Legal Metrology, Joydip Roy Poddar said seizure list has been handed over following the confiscation of suspected measuring units.
