Red Horns Division conducts demonstrations in preparation for floods

Chirang, May, 9, 2019:

Red Horns Division of the Indian Army conducted a live demonstration of its flood relief column at Chirang District of Assam on 09 May 2019.

This column consisting of highly trained individuals of Army with specialized equipment has been formed to provide assistance to civil administration during floods.

Red Horns division displayed its capability and fine waterman ship that would come handy during the flood relief operations.

The demonstration was witnessed by a large number of dignitaries from Army and civil administration of Chirang and Bongaigaon Districts, as well by a huge flock of local citizens.

It may also be notified that another aim of this demonstration was to formulate a well-coordinated and synergized flood relief plan.

Moreover, the demonstration has given a positive and reassuring signal to the local populace.
