Assam: 2 teenagers missing in Baksa

2 teenagers have been reported missing since March 24th in Baksa, Assam. The missing individuals have been identified as Swapna Babu Boro, aged 16 and Gopal Krishna Basumatari, aged 15.

The missing teenagers were identified as Swapan Babu Boro, who has recently appeared for his matriculation and Gopal Krishna Boro, is a class 8 student.

The families of the missing teenagers have taken to media, appealing for any information that could lead to their safe return. 

The mother of the two addressed their concern with the sobbing voice saying, "we have informed the police and have not received any update yet".

"I wasn't home, I was outside. He used to stay at his uncle's place. After the exam they were given permission to use their mobile phones but what do they do we have no idea." says Gopal's mother. "My sister woke up and saw the two brothers were not on their bed. At first we thought they went for a morning walk but haven't returned yet" she further added.

Local authorities, spearheaded by Anandabazar Reserve, have launched a search operation to locate the missing teenagers. Despite efforts from the authorities, their whereabouts remain unknown.
