An agitated mob took matters into their own hands, torching two vehicles amidst suspicions of cattle theft. The chain of events was sparked by the arrival of three individuals allegedly intent on stealing cows, who were apprehended by the vigilant residents.

According to eyewitness accounts, the commotion began when a luxury vehicle bearing the license plate number AS01-DK-7214 was identified as transporting the stolen bovines. The three cows in question were promptly handed over to Dharamtul police, underscoring the severity of the situation. Moreover, another vehicle, a Tata war vehicle numbered AS01-QC-5575, was also engulfed in flames, a testament to the escalating tensions.

The alleged perpetrators, identified as Musarikul Islam, Morshidul Islam, and Gulzar Hussain Alli, were swiftly apprehended by the community members who were on high alert. One local resident, speaking to the media, expressed the collective sentiment, emphasizing the vital role of cattle in sustaining livelihoods within the community. "The common person earns their living through cattle breeding, supplementing their income. However, when miscreants attempt to deprive them of this source of sustenance, it bodes ill for all," remarked the concerned individual.
