Assam: Beheaded body of student found at a madrasa in Cachar district

The beheaded body of a 12-year-old student was found in a hostel room of Madrassa in Assam's Cachar district on August 13 morning.

The incident took place at Darus Salam Hafizia Madrasa in Dholai where the student after having dinner the previous night went to his room to sleep. However, today in the morning his beheaded body was found.

The body was found by a teacher of the madrasa when he went to the deceased's room to wake him up. As soon as the body was found, the authorities of the madrasa immediately informed the Dholai police.

''Today in the morning we found a beheaded body of a student lying in one of the hostel rooms. We soon inform the police about the same. I have witnessed something like that for the first time and that too in a madrasa,'' a teacher of Darus Salam Hafizia Madrasa. 

The police after reaching the spot recovered the beheaded body of the deceased identified as Rabijul Hussain. 

Meanwhile, police have launched an investigation into the gruesome murder of the student and also sealed the madrasa.
