Assam: BJP leader Manoj Tiwari holds road show in Doom Dooma in support of Sarbananda Sonowal

Bhojpuri singer actor and BJP leader Manoj Tiwari arrived here in Assam to campaign for BJP candidate Sarbananda Sonowal in Tinsukia and Dibrugarh.

A huge crowd gathered to get a glimpse of the leader, sloganeering "Narendra Modi Zindabad, BJP Zindabad" as Tiwari mounted on a vehicle, waved to the jubilant crowd. 

He is scheduled to participate in another roadshow in Tinsukia today. Manoj Tiwari will address a public rally at Jalan Nagar LP ME School Field, Dibrujan, Paltan Bazar in Dibrugarh at 5:30pm today.

Assam BJP Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on April 1 claimed that in the upcoming state assembly elections in Assam, Bharatiya Janata Party will win 12 out of 14 seats. 

He further stated that Northeast will play a crucial role in victory for the BJP. He claimed that  out of the 25 seats in Northeast BJP aims to win 22.

The Assam election, structured to ensure a fair and orderly democratic process, will unfold in three phases. The initial phase is set for April 19. The second phase will be held on April 26 while the third phase will be held on May 7.
