Assam: Bollywood actor Rani Mukerji visits Kamakhya temple in Guwahati to seek blessings on her birthday

Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee on March 18 visited Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati and sought blessings on her 45th birthday.

She visited the temple along with her family members and offered special prayers for Maa Kamakhya. 

On March 17, Mukherjee's latest emotional drama ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ hit the theaters which is based on Sagarrika Chakaraborty's book 'The Journey of a Mother'.

The movie is inspired by a true story of a mom, who fought against a country in order to get back the custody of her children.

She was last seen in Bunty Aur Babli 2 where she worked with Saif Ali Khan, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Sharvari Wagh.

Today is the birthday of Mukherjee, who is one of the most celebrated actors in Bollywood. She was born on March 21, 1978, in Mumbai. She became an iconic figure in the Indian film industry in a short span of time after her debut.

She started her career in 1996 with the film 'Raja Ki Ayegi Baraat' and 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' which gave her fame as well as commercial success.
