In Assam’s Baksa district, prospective candidates from the Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) have begun political groundwork to bolster their chances. Among them, Amol Barua, an aspirant from the Salbari constituency, has stepped up his public outreach.
Barua has launched a self-initiated campaign, engaging with various local organisations and groups across the constituency. He has also been inviting key individuals from different sectors to his residence for political consultations and advice.
Speaking to the media, Amol Barua revealed that four individuals have applied for the BPF ticket from Salbari. He further stated that if the party selects him as its official candidate, he is committed to working for the holistic development of the constituency.
