Assam CM inaugurates ‘Operation Sindoor’ exhibit, showcases forces’ strike post-Pahalgam attack

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday inaugurated an exhibition on Operation Sindoor at the State BJP headquarters in honour of the Indian armed forces. 

The exhibition showcases the valour and strategic might of the armed forces in the aftermath of the recent Pahalgam terror attack.

Speaking at the event, CM Sarma said, “After the Pahalgam terror attack, our armed forces, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, displayed great valour and destroyed Pakistan. Our missile systems, our defence infrastructure, and the exemplary courage of our forces destroyed the terror infrastructure of Pakistan.”

The Chief Minister urged the public to visit the exhibition to witness the strength of India’s defence capabilities.

He also called upon citizens to participate in the upcoming Tirangaa Yatra being held across the state as a mark of solidarity and patriotism.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and BJP state president Dilip Saikia on Wednesday led a 'Tiranga Yatra' in the state capital to mark the success of 'Operation Sindoor' carried out by the Indian armed forces in retaliation to the Pahalgam terror attack.

The rally from Adabari to Jalukbari was attended by hundreds of party workers and supporters.

Former Eastern Army Commander Lt Gen (retd) Rana Pratap Kalita also joined the march.
