Assam Congress leader Abdur Rashid Mandal attributes resignations to disagreements with leaders, not party issues

Assam Congress MLA Abdur Rashid Mandal commented on the recent wave of resignations from the party. He attributes these departures not to problems with the Congress party itself, but to disagreements with specific leaders. 

There have been grievances against certain leaders within the party. However, this trend is not confined to Congress, with similar situations arising in BJP and other political parties. 

Mandal further stated that the high-ranking officials of the party are aware of the situation and are dedicated to finding solutions. Despite the resignations, Mandal remains optimistic about the party's performance in the forthcoming elections, expecting it to surpass that of 2019.

He also mentioned that leaders who have allegations against them will face the consequences.
