Assam: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh arrives in Kokrajhar to address public gathering

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh arrived in Kokrajhar today, aiming to invigorate party workers ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Addressing a public gathering, Singh sought to bolster the morale of party members and supporters. His presence marked a significant move in the National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) strategic preparations for the electoral battle.

Accompanied by Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) Chief Pramod Boro, State BJP President Bhavesh Kalita and Assam Cabinet Minister Ranjit Dass, Singh's visit underscored the unity within the alliance and its commitment to securing electoral victory.

Earlier in the day, key executive meetings of the United People's Party Liberal (UPPL), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) were held at Green Field, where strategies for the upcoming campaign were discussed.

The NDA's election campaign officially commenced today, signaling the beginning of a vigorous political contest in the region. With Singh's address and the collaborative efforts of alliance members, the NDA aims to strengthen its foothold and secure electoral success in the upcoming polls.
