Assam: Dhubri district celebrates Ram Mandir inauguration in Ayodhya with joy and unity

The historic inauguration of the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya on Monday was celebrated with fervour and enthusiasm by the people of Dhubri district, who joined the rest of the country in witnessing the auspicious occasion.

The people from the district have been celebrating the event for the last few days by organizing various cultural and religious programs, such as bhajans, kirtans, puja, and prasad distribution. 

On Monday, different groups and individuals including NGOs, socio-cultural groups, religious bodies and political parties jointly brought out a rally in the entire Dhubri town to express their happiness at the inauguration event at Ayodhya that took place on Monday.

The rally passed through the main roads of the town. The participants carried saffron flags, banners, posters, and portraits of Lord Ram along with Lord Hanuman, Sita and Laxman Laxman. They also chanted slogans of "Jai Shri Ram" and "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" and distributed sweets among the people.

The rally was attended by people from all walks of life, irrespective of their caste, creed, religion, or political affiliation. The organizers said that the rally was a symbol of the unity and harmony of the people of Dhubri, who respect and celebrate the diversity of the country.

The participants also thanked the central and state governments for facilitating the construction and inauguration of the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, which they said was a long-cherished dream of the Hindu community. They also expressed their hope that the Ram Mandir would usher in a new era of peace, prosperity, and development for the country.
