Assam: Heated clash erupts between Congress and AIUDF workers in Dhubri

A tense situation occurred at Baghmara market in the Dhubri Lok Sabha constituency today as clashes erupted between supporters of the Congress party and the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF). The conflict arose when a group of AIUDF supporters attempted to display black flags prompting a heated exchange with Congress workers.

The incident occurred as Congress nominee Rakibul Hussain accompanied by several party MLAs was en route to attend an election campaign rally at Kholabandha market in the constituency. Upon reaching Baghmara market, tensions flared as AIUDF workers positioned themselves to display black flags in front of Hussain.
