Assam: Income Tax department raids business establishments in Goraimari over tax evasion allegations

The Income Tax Department conducted a raid in Goraimari village, focusing on two establishments in the local market.

The operation targeted AB Siddique Hardware Store and a tin shop owned by Abubakkar Siddique.

A team of ten officials from the Income Tax Department is leading the raid, following allegations of substantial tax evasion amounting to several lakhs of rupees.

The operation is currently underway, with officials scrutinizing financial records and other relevant documents as part of their investigation.
