Assam: KAC chief hails PM Modi’s bold leadership in launching 'Operation Sindoor'

The Chief of the Kamtapur Autonomous Council (KAC) has publicly praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for launching Operation Sindoor, a decisive military response to the recent Pahalgam terror attack that claimed multiple civilian lives.

In a statement to the press, the KAC Chief commended the government’s strong stance against cross-border terrorism, saying,

“We salute Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his timely and bold action against the terrorists. Such strong retaliation is necessary to teach Pakistan that attacks on India will not be tolerated.”

Operation Sindoor, launched in the early hours of May 7, targeted multiple terrorist camps and infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The Indian armed forces carried out precise and strategic strikes, aimed at dismantling the operational networks of terror outfits allegedly responsible for the Pahalgam attack.

The KAC Chief emphasised that national unity and security must remain a top priority.

“The safety of our citizens and the integrity of our nation must come first. We stand firmly behind our armed forces and the leadership of Prime Minister Modi,” he said.

“Such operations send a strong message to those who support or harbour terrorism – India will not remain silent in the face of provocation.”

The statement reflects a growing wave of support across the country for the Indian military and the government’s response to terrorism. Leaders across party lines and regional bodies have echoed similar sentiments, underlining a united front in the face of external threats.
