Assam: Labourer found dead at Ledo coal mine, police begins probe

A labourer, identified as Kancha, was discovered dead at a coal mine in Ledo, Tinsukia district, Assam on Tuesday, as per sources. 

The worker's death occurred under mysterious circumstances while he was transporting coal at Lalmati in Ledo. 

His body was found abandoned at the foothill early in the morning, according to fellow workers at the mine. The Ledo Police were promptly informed about the incident and were quick to reach the scene. The body, now under police custody, was retrieved upon their arrival.

Currently, the whereabouts of the individual's who abandoned the body of Kancha remain unknown. Meanwhile, police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
