In a shocking breach of security, a man was attacked with a screwdriver inside the Morigaon Court premises, triggering concern among the legal fraternity.
The incident took place within the advocates’ association compound, where an individual named Usman Gani allegedly attacked another person identified as Habibur using a screwdriver.
Habibur sustained injuries in the attack. The situation escalated quickly but was brought under control with the intervention of a third person named Abdul Jalil, who acted as a mediator.
The incident has raised serious questions about the lack of security measures inside the court complex. Advocates practicing in Morigaon have expressed deep concern over their safety following the incident and are demanding enhanced security arrangements to prevent such occurrences in the future.
