Assam Minister Ranjit Das takes a dig at Opposition, says all will join BJP after getting signal from Himanta Biswa Sarma

Assam Minister on Ranjit Kumar Das took a dig at the Opposition party and said that barring one or two leaders, rest are all Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma supporters.

Speaking on the sidelines of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Das added that if CM Sarma gives a signal, everyone will join BJP. But due to no place in the party, leaders are unable to join BJP, added minister Ranjit Kumar Das.

While speaking about the present status about the Oppositon, Das said that nothing called as 'Opposition' is left now. Minister Ranjit Kumar Das's remarks come while he was attending a land patta distribution ceremony in Sarupeta. 

"Barring two-three, rest of the Congressmen are CM Sarma's men. Now if today, CM Sarma gives a signal, all will come running to join BJP. I am repeating not one or two, but all will come running to join the party. But just joining BJP will not do, there has to be place in the party fold to accept the new joinees. So if they get a signal, all will surely come running to join BJP", said Ranjit Kumar Das.
