Assam: Miscreants deface posters of senior Congress leaders at Nagaon district Congress office

Miscreants on November 10 defaced posters of senior Congress leaders Pradyut Bordoloi and MLA Rakibul Hussain at Rajiv Bhawan in Nagaon district Congress office. 

The posters were smeared with black ink. The miscreants even wrote 'Agent of BJP, AGP' on Rakibul Hussain's posters. The incindent took place right after the resignation of Nagaon district Congress president Suresh Bora

The incident has already caused tension within the Congress as the party was jolted by not one but two resignations. 

Notably, Nagaon Congress president Suresh Bora and Assam Youth Congress working president Poritush Roy tendered their resignation from the primary membership of the party. The duo will be likely joining BJP today.
