Assam: Muslim family donates one bigha of land for Ganesh temple in Nalbari district

Assam has been by and large free from any major communal trouble and the same is present in 2024 with people from both communities- Hindu and Muslim sharing a link of brotherhood among each other.

In a gesture of communal harmony, a Muslim family has donated their land towards the welfare of a Ganesh temple in Assam's Nalbari district.

It is to be mentioned here that, in today's Ganesh puja while devotees throng the devalaya to offer prayer, the family of the late Messer Ali, who was a 'Mahajan' has also come forward for the Ganesh Puja at Shiv Ganesh Shanti Dham along National Highway 31 in Nalbari.

One of the sons, Mofidul Hussain of late Messer Ali said after a discussion with our four brothers we have delivered the promise made by our father.
