Assam: Naked body of unidentified woman found in Morigaon

A body of an unidentified woman was found floating in a pond located in the middle of Borbori and Kalikajori village on September 9.

The incident took place at Kalikajori in Morigaon. 

In the morning, locals saw a dead body hanging naked in the middle of the pond. According to locals, the incident came to light at around 5 AM in the morning and suspected murder.

The Mikirbheta Police were informed about the incident and have already reached the spot to investigate the matter.

The deceased woman is yet to be identified. The exact cause of the woman's death will come to light only after the post-mortem.
