Assam police arrest Ismail Hossain over obscene social media comments

Ismail Hossain was arrested by the Mangaldai Police following a complaint filed by a woman named Urmimala Dutta. 

She lodged an FIR at the Mangaldai Police Station, accusing Hossain of making obscene remarks against her on social media.

Under the leadership of Officer-in-Charge Chandan Jyoti Bora of Mangaldai Sadar Police Station, a police team apprehended Hossain from Gor Ali in Jorhat.

It is noteworthy that Urmimala Dutta filed the FIR based on the objectionable social media comments allegedly made by Hossain against her. The police acted on this FIR to arrest him.

Although Ismail Hossain is primarily based in Guwahati for work, the police arrested him from Gor Ali, Jorhat, based on mobile location tracking.

The reason for his presence in Jorhat remains unclear. Currently, Ismail Hossain is being questioned by the police at Mangaldai Sadar Police Station.
