Assam Police DSP accused of sexually abusing minor domestic help

In a shocking event, a senior official of Assam Police, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kiran Nath, has been accused of sexually abusing a minor girl. Nath, based at the Police Training College in Dergaon, was alleged to have molested a 15-year-old girl working as a domestic help at his residence.

The allegations were made by the victim's family, who claimed that the DSP has long been physically and sexually abusing the girl. The case came to light when the girl escaped to her family and disclosed the abuse.

The family subsequently attempted to file a case against Nath at Dergaon Police Station on Saturday, but were obstructed by Nath's wife, causing unrest at the police station.

The situation was eventually managed by the police. An FIR has now been filed, with demands for justice and severe punishment for the accused, according to reports.
