Assam: Policy of Congress party is decided in drawing room of a family, says Himanta Biswa Sarma

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited Sarbhog on February 29 and inaugurated the newly constructed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mandal office building. The ceremony was graced by the presence of BJP Assam State President Bhabesh Kalita, senior ministers Ranjit Kumar Das, and Ranoj Pegu.

The people of Barnahar enthusiastically welcomed the Chief Minister, showering him with flowers and the traditional dhole-dagar. The vibrant atmosphere set the tone for the inauguration of the BJP's state-of-the-art Mandal office.

During his speech, Chief Minister Sarma highlighted the distinctive nature of the BJP's decision-making process. Drawing a sharp contrast with the Congress party, he emphasized that the BJP's policies are crafted in a transparent and inclusive manner at their temple-like party office.

"The policy of the Congress party is decided in the drawing room of a family. But the BJP is free from the nepotism system," stated the Chief Minister. He pointed out the diverse leadership lineage of the BJP, citing figures like Atal Bihari Vajpayee, LK Advani, Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, and JP Nadda, who emerged from different backgrounds.

The inauguration marked a significant milestone for the BJP in Sarbhog, symbolizing their commitment to transparent and inclusive governance. The newly constructed Mandal office stands as a testament to the party's dedication to fostering a democratic and open decision-making process.
