Assam: Reckless stunts and unauthorized sirens spark public outrage in Guwahati

Guwahati witnessed two alarming incidents that have raised fresh concerns over public safety and law enforcement. The shocking displays of reckless behavior in two separate locations have sparked widespread outrage among citizens.

In the first incident, a young man was spotted dangerously riding on top of a moving vehicle in Ganeshguri, holding a lit cigarette.

The vehicle’s number plate was deliberately obscured, with only a partial registration visible: AS01EW315 (the last digit remains unclear). His hazardous stunt not only disrupted traffic but also posed a serious threat to road safety.

Meanwhile, at Beltola Market, the infamous ‘Siren Gang’ resurfaced, causing panic among locals. A private vehicle bearing registration number AS01FF3872 was seen blaring an unauthorized siren, leading to chaos in the area. The misuse of sirens by private vehicles remains a growing menace, misleading the public and undermining law enforcement.
