Assam: Sensation prevails after minor boy dies of electrocution in Bongaigaon

In a tragic incident, a young boy died of electrocution at Balapara in Jogighopa under Bongaigaon district on November 12.

The deceased identified as Rahul Ahmed (12), son of Amir Ali and Jelekha Khatun of Balapara. 

As per sources, the young boy had come to work at the broiler farm in the morning. Electrical wires ran around the broiler farm which led to the death of the young boy. Ahmed died on the spot. 
 
Curerntly, the owner of the broiler farm Yar Alam, is absconding.

Notably, the area was a den for gambling. Electric wires were illegally stolen to run the broiler farm. 

Tension erupted with locals coming out looking for the owner. Police from Jogighopa police station were present at the spot to control the angry crowd.
