Assam: Stolen items worth lakh recovered during raid in Bongaigaon, 2 held

North Bongaigaon Police during patrolling last night in Dolaigaon under Bongaigaon district recovered huge qusntity of stolen goods worth several lakhs.

The raid was led by Officer-in-Charge of North Bongaigaon Police Station Sukesh Ghosh who seized the stolen items worth lakhs.  

It is to be noted that after the arrest of a youth in connection with the theft of motorcycles during the day, according to the statement of the said youth, in a night raid in Dolaigaon, the police were able to recover the stolen items including four gas cylinders, 27 motor pumps, six batteries and stolen items worth lakhs of rupees. 

The police arrested two persons identified as Luv Boro and Rahmat Ali in connection with the incident.
