The much-awaited Ali-Ai-Ligang festival, a significant cultural celebration of Assam's indigenous Mishing community, is scheduled for February 19, coinciding with 6th Phagun on the traditional Assamese calendar.
The event, which marks the beginning of the Phagun month, will be celebrated with fervor and enthusiasm across the state.
In the Bokakhat area, the 1 No. Panbari Elengmari Mishing village is already immersed in festive preparations.
