BJP will win at least 18 seats in upcoming BTR polls: Minister Ranjeet Dass

Assam Minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass held a review meeting today at the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Bongaigaon district, where he discussed various state government schemes, including the Arunodoi 3.0 initiative.

As the guardian minister of the district, Dass reviewed the implementation status of key welfare programs. Speaking on the BJP's recent move to appoint in-charges for the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Dass stated, “The BJP does not aim to rule over people, but to serve them. These appointments are part of our effort to strengthen the party’s organisation at every level.”

In the upcoming BTR elections, Dass asserted that the BJP will form an alliance with the political party that will secure the majority of seats. “We are not concerned about opposition parties’ strategies or roadshows; they are not visible to us,” he remarked confidently.

Projecting his party’s performance, Dass said, “The BJP will win at least 18 seats in the upcoming BTR polls.”

Addressing the recent recovery of the rare and endangered golden langur in West Bengal, the minister expressed deep concern: “This is a very unfortunate incident. It is by the grace of God that the langurs were rescued. If anyone spots suspicious individuals with golden langurs, they must immediately inform the police,” he appealed.
